Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal has been making its city move to the rhythm of its choreographic creations since 1957. In 2000, the company took on a whole new direction under the visionary guidance of its new artistic director, Gradimir Pankov, with extensive international experience under his belt. As soon as he arrived, he transformed Les Grands Ballets into a contemporary creative and repertory company that reflects current trends in ballet, and that remains very active both at home and abroad.
